In addition to organising and hosting whisky tasting events and whisky tours, the founder of Kask Whisky, Justine Hazlehurst, is also the co-director of the annual Fife Whisky Festival and the new Borderlands Whisky Festival.
Her passion and enthusiasm for whisky has led to her being selected as a judge for the Scottish Whisky Awards, World Whiskies Awards, Icons of Whisky Awards and the Spirit of Speyside Awards as well as a number of tasting panels.
Her knowledge of Scotch whisky history has led her to work with a number of distilleries, organisations and publications delving into the heritage of brands. Her most recent project involved working with Whisky Magazine and Beam-Suntory for the documentary A Fresh Perspective: Blended Scotch from 1823 to Ardray.
Justine's written work has been published in The Keeper as well as Whisky Magazine. After no less than four years of research, her book "Opening The Case: The Affairs Of Pattisons' Whisky" will be available to purchase soon.
