Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy is a single pot still Irish whiskey named after Midleton's master distiller who retired in 2013 after 47 years at the distillery. The majority of this whiskey has been matured in first fill bourbon barrels. However, a proportion was also matured using virgin American oak.

Nose: peardrops; foam bananas; strawberry trifle; hints of marzipan come through after a while; plenty of vanilla ice cream; after a while, the fruit aromas subside a little and subtle notes of leather and oak start to appear.
Palate: vanilla ice cream; melon; gooseberries; barley sugar; some oak spice coming through; black cherry yoghurt; dark chocolate; initially, a creamy texture becoming drier into the finish.
